Quiet Day
Today was a quiet day but I did have the charming company of Christel who is the wife of Chris Cowdrey. What a lovely chat we have had over the past 2 days. Having painted 4 egg cups on Wednesday, Christel returned to paint another 4 for the rest of the family. I started to paint some samples for valentines day and we both had a lovely relaxing day.
This however is a beautiful plate that one of our customers painted for Christmas - but I am going to put it on here as some inspiration for you to start thinking about your loved one for Valentines Day....

Boxing Day 2011
So today Chris & I are off to my sister Dee's for the day - haven't we been lucky.. 3 days of fun.
Here is one of my great nieces Scarlett being a pickel!
And this one is Amelia with Nanny Dee
It was lovely to see the little ones faces as they opened their prezzies.
Another lovely day but home to bed earlier today - we are such light weights.....
Christmas Day 2011
Where does the time go .... no sooner had Chris & I opened our prezzies from each other, when it was time to get ourselves ready to make the journey to Maidstone to visit our son Mark and his wife Gabby. They had decided on a quiet romantic Christmas this year so we dropped by with prezzies and Christmas Wishes before making our way to our other Son Andrew and his wife to be Nadine (weddings in May - Can't wait- it will be lovely).
Soon after arriving at Andy's we received a phone call from our daughter Sarah who is in Florida working on the Disney Cruise Liner 'Disney Dream'. So there was a lot of excitement to wish her a happy christmas.
Nadine and Andrew then served a lovely dinner to us and Nadine's mum Sue. The afternoon in true family tradition transended into playing games to which 'The Cube' game that Andy had been bought for xmas 2010 made its way to the dining table. We all made fools of ourselves but it was good fun. Finally left at 10pm having watched Eastenders completely exhausted..... but happy.

Wonder what tomorrow will bring?
Christmas Eve
Having closed the studio on Wednesday for a well earned break, I found myself in Sainsbury's raising money for our scout group. Santa hat on head and 2 grinning cubs beside me we spent 3 days bag packing and helping people to their cars with their shopping. A total of around £1,000 was raised which will be a good start to our bid to secure a community grant to update the Scout Hut Kitchen.
Following this on Christmas Eve, my husband Chris & I made our way to London for the matinee performance of GHOST. It was fabulous and such a nice thing to do on Christmas Eve. Having left the theatre we strolled around Oxford Street and Regent Street to look at the lights. We eventually made our way back towards Charring Cross where we stopped of at St Martins in the Field Church and joined in the service before popping over into Trafalgar Square and joining in the sing song around the tree. All in all, a lovely day to start the festive weekend.
